How To Get Money As A Teenager
There are two things that every mom has said to their kids growing up.
"Because I said so."
"No, there's food at the house."
-Every Mom Ever
See our childhoods aren't too different after all. I remember being around 9 years old when I asked my mom to buy me a Snickers bar at Rite Aid. She looked at me and said, "If you want to buy snacks, do so with your own money." Unfair, seeing how I was a child with no income of my own. So I asked the reasonable follow-up question, "How do I make money? " she said plainly, "You have to sell something." I then responded, "what should I sell?"
It was a hot summer day and she looked around the store. She pointed at a 24 pack of water and said, "It cost five bucks to buy a 24 pack of water. Buy a 24 pack, bring it to the local park, and sell each water for $1. If you sell all of them, you make 19 bucks. You can buy all the Snicker bars you want then."
I doubt she thought I was going to follow through with the idea, but even back then I understood the importance of money. So, after doing a little bit of research, I realize all I would need is a cooler on wheels and a bag of ice. Within a week, I took out a small loan from my mom to buy all the needed materials, and I started going to my local park screaming, "Ice-cold water, ice-cold soda, one dollar."
I started making money pretty quickly. After paying off my mom, I bought even more water and even more soda, which translated to more money. It started me off on the path that it has led me to today where I have now started several businesses. However, I owe it all to my mom who showed me how important it was to make money as a kid.
If you're reading this, you're probably wondering how you can make money as a teen. That's great that you're interested in making money at a young age. If you can start working on your side hustle now, it can pay off big-time before you even can drink your first beer.
In this post, I will cover over 60 ways that you can make money today as a teen. Whether it's doing tasks in your neighborhood, downloading apps, or making money online, this post will cover it all. By the end of it, you'll be well equipped to start your entrepreneurial journey.
How To Make Money As A Teen In Your Neighborhood
Want to make money while still staying close to home? No problem. There are multiple ways you can make money by doing jobs around your neighborhood. In this section, we'll cover all the best ways you can make money as a teen in your neighborhood.
1. Tutor Kids In Your Neighborhood
Does math come easy to you? Have you always been a fairly good writer? If you excel at a certain skill you can make money from it. You probably know some other kids in your neighborhood either your age or younger who could benefit from having a tutor.
Reach out to them and ask them if they would want to pay you for homework help. You can even sign up for a website like tutor.com and make a profile there.
2. Dog Walking
I'm partial to this one because this was my business after I stopped selling water and soda. I got my first dog in the sixth grade. Since I had to take her to the dog park on a daily basis I got to speak with a lot of other dog owners. One complaint all of them had was that no one was around to walk their dog in the afternoon.
Since I got off of school at 3:00 pm, I started offering a dog walking service to people who wanted their dog walked in the late afternoon. I started dog walking at around 12 years old and did it for almost 10 years. This works best in cities where there are a lot of people living in apartment buildings in close proximity.
If you don't have a dog or know where to meet dog owners you could always sign up for an app like Rover or Wag and make a profile there. It just takes a few minutes and what better way to spend your time making money than with dogs.
3. Make Money As A Teen Babysitting
Babysitting is another job that a teen can have to make money today. Parents are often busy, and when they come home from work many of them don't want to make sure their kids have done their homework and cleaned their room. This is where you come in.
There are many parents who would happily take on a babysitter to look after their kids when they're not around. If you don't know any then you could always sign up for an app like Care.com or sittercity.com.
4. Taking Down Christmas Trees
Everyone loves setting up Christmas trees. No one likes taking them down. When Christmas time rolls around, put up flyers in your neighborhood saying that you will take down Christmas trees for a fee. You can even leave flyers by people's doors saying that you will take down their Christmas tree for fifty bucks. Although this only works for one time of the year, you may find 20 people who want you to take down their tree for them. I don't know about you, but $1,000 goes a long way as a teenager.
5. Renting Out Your Car When It's Not In Use
If you live in a suburb and have to commute to school you probably have a car. Some people have family cars, while others have their own car. If you want to make money as a teen, and you have your own car, you can rent it out to other people. It is really easy to do this with an app like Turo. If you don't need your car on the weekend then this would be a perfect time to rent it out.
6. Write Essays For Students
There are two things you cannot avoid as a student. Taking exams and writing essays. And although you cannot take exams for people, a lot of them will be willing to pay you to write essays for them. You can charge ten dollars per page, and if you are a good writer, it won't be hard to keep writing essays for some students or to expand your business to other students.
7. Dog Sitting
Similar to dog walking, dog sitting is when a dog stays with you for an extended period of time. Instead of going on a 30-minute walk, a dog might stay with you for 3 days while the owners are out of town. You will still need to walk the dog, but with dog sitting comes extra chores, like feeding and giving them water.
If you have space in your house and your parents are okay with it this could be a great way to start making some extra money on the side.
8. Teach Art Lessons
When I say art, I don't mean you have to be able to draw. If you can sing, play an instrument, paint, or anything along those lines you can host art lessons for other kids in your neighborhood. This is great because you could have group lessons where you can teach a lot of kids at once.
9. Host A Poker Night
When I was in high school, I got my first taste of playing poker. I wasn't good, but neither was anyone else. If you have an open space in which you can bring friends over, introduce poker nights. You won't be able to charge your friends for coming, but there are a bunch of YouTube videos that show you the basics of poker. That is all you need to beat your friends in the game. This could be a nice way to generate some side income by learning a new skill.
10. Sell Waters & Sodas In Your Local Park In The Summer
You probably saw this coming as it was my very first experience with making money as a kid. The process to do this is very simple. You buy a 24 pack of water for a few bucks, and then you sell those waters individually for a dollar in crowded areas. I found the best luck with local parks. However, if you know other high-traffic areas in your neighborhood this can be a perfect place for you to set up shop.
You can even experiment with other things like candy, chocolate, and other goodies. The start-up cost is very low, and it is very easy to be profitable doing this.
11. Sell Hot Coffee In The Winter
If I wanted to make more money as a teen, I would've done this as well. You can only sell water and sodas during the summer season. When winter comes around, the business model no longer works. However, if you just change your product offering you can still stay in business.
If you invest in a coffee maker you can brew up coffee and sell it in a crowded area. You can also experiment with things like tea and hot chocolate and see if those sell well too.
12. Shovel Snow
Another job you can do during the winter is shoveling snow. This is especially great if you live in a suburb in which there are a lot of driveways. Many people hate to shovel their own snow, but it is something you have to do to bring your car in and out of the driveway.
Go door-to-door and ask people if they would be interested in having their driveway shoveled for twenty bucks. A lot of people will take you up on that deal, and if you do a good enough job, this can be recurring revenue for you as it'll be snowing all throughout the winter season.
13. Make Money As A Teen Selling To Your Classmates
One of the easiest ways to make money as a teen is to monetize your classmates. All you have to do is buy something that you can then resell for a higher price to your friends. This could be in the form of sports cards, shoes, hats, or food.
You can easily buy things on eBay that you can flip to your classmates for more money. The trick to this is to test it before you sell it. If you want to sell watches to your classmates, show them a picture of a watch and ask them how much they would be willing to pay for it. Once they give you a response, see if you can get that watch for a cheaper amount and if you can sell it to them for a profit.
14. Become A Personal Trainer
I know as a teenager I surely wasn't lifting weights. I probably should have been. But if you are in good shape and you know how to work out in the gym, this could be a great way to start making some money as a teen. A lot of teenagers care about their looks. If you can show them how you have been able to transform your body they would be willing to invest in you to help transform theirs.
This can also work if you're good at sports. If you are exceptional at basketball, soccer, or football you can charge for training lessons and teach kids how to play the sport.
15. Become A Referee
If you have played a sport for most of your life you probably understand the ins and outs of it. You can use that knowledge of that sport to become a referee. As a player, you probably know all the fields and courts around your neighborhood that have games for kids. Reach out to the sports communities in your neighborhood and ask if they are in need of additional help.
Referees are always in demand, and if you understand the sport pretty well this could be a nice way to make some money as a teen.
16. Upkeep Yards
If you live in a city this might not apply to you. But for those of you who live in suburban areas, one of the hardest things for homeowners to do is upkeep their yards. This could be in the form of mowing their lawn, taking out their weeds, or just raking up some leaves. If you can establish yourself as the neighborhood yard cleaner, people will start coming to you to do the work that they would rather not do.
17. Host Parties In Your Neighborhood
For most people, partying is a way to lose money. However, if you look at it as an entrepreneur there are a lot of opportunities to make money from hosting parties. I knew a bunch of friends growing up who would rent out a venue, and charge a cover for entry.
You can do the same thing. Find spaces in your local neighborhood and see how much it would cost to rent it out for the night. Once you know how much it cost to rent out the spot, see how many people you would need to bring in to make money. Assume you can charge anywhere from 10 to 20 bucks per person.
Also, see if you can get a DJ to come for free for the exposure. If you can't find a DJ for free offer them a percentage of revenue from the entry fee. This way it'll encourage them to bring their own group of people, and you only have to pay them if you yourself make money.
18. Make Money As A Teen Washing Cars
Similar to upkeeping yards, if you live in a suburb where everyone has a car this can be an easy way to make money as a teen. Go door-to-door and ask if the owners would be interested in having you clean their car. Many people will respect the hustle and if they haven't had their car washed in a while will allow you to do so. A lot of the materials you need to clean a car you can find around your own house. You can just carry them door-to-door asking people if they're in need of the service.
19. Rent Out Your Space
Do you have a garage in your house? Maybe a spacious room where you can have people over. You're probably too young to rent out your entire house on Airbnb. But, you could rent out your space and let people use areas within your house. Do you have a comic book collection that you can let people read for $5 an hour? Maybe some video games that you wouldn't mind letting someone else play with for a few hours on the weekend?
It doesn't even have to be your own space. You could also rent out things like a bike, skateboard, soccer ball, or baseball bat. Just make sure that you know whoever you're giving your stuff to so that you can find them if they don't return your items.
20. Buy A Vending Machine
What? Yes, you heard me. Surprisingly, anyone can purchase a vending machine. In fact, most vending machines can be purchased for under $2,000. Yes, that is a lot of money I know. However, this could pay off quickly if you can put it in the right location. What is a good location? Your school of course!
Ask your school if you could put a vending machine in it for students to get snacks throughout the day. Even if your school says no, you could always go to other schools in your district and ask them if they would be interested. If you can find a school that doesn't have any other source of snacks your vending machine will be the only place available to get a midday snack.
21. Clean Houses
Cleaning is one of those things no one wants to do but we all have to do it. Use this to your advantage. If you live in a city, there is a strong chance you live in an apartment building. Most apartment buildings will have communal laundromats or garbage areas. In these areas, they're usually bulletin boards where you can post flyers.
Print out some flyers saying that you will clean houses. You can charge anywhere from $100 to $200 per house. It shouldn't take you more than a couple of hours and this can be a great thing to do after school or during the weekend. Flyers is the exact strategy I used for my dog-walking business.
It is an extremely effective method for showing people in your area the availability of your service. Another great thing if you live in an apartment building is word-of-mouth. If you do a great job for somebody, they might tell another neighbor about your service. You can even ask them to spread the word on your behalf.
22. Teach Kids How To Code
What do Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, and Steve Jobs all have in common? They all started their companies before the age of 21. Technology has allowed kids to start their own companies at very young ages. It is also a great skill to have as some of the top-paying majors are computer science and engineering.
If you can teach yourself how to code, not only can it help you with your own business but you can also use that skill to teach younger kids in your neighborhood how to code. Parents will happily pay for this.
23. Print On Demand T-Shirts For Your School
Almost every school has a sports team. On top of having sports teams, most schools also have organizations like a chess club or comic book club. Every sports team needs apparel, and many organizations also need apparel. Go to your athletic director and ask how much it costs for sports equipment for a particular sport.
Tell them you have been researching apparel for schools and realized that many schools pay too much for their sports clothing. Once they tell you how much they pay for their clothes, ask them if they could pay you to go find a supplier at a cheaper cost. If they agree, you can in most scenarios find a supplier that can undercut the price of the current supplier and in turn make you some extra money.
24. Learn How To DJ
I was an unofficial DJ for 2 years in college for my fraternity. The first thing I realized while DJing is that it isn't as hard as it looks. The trick to becoming a good DJ is just having the right music, and if you have a good ear for it, it's easy to blend together songs.
You can DJ anything from school events, bar mitzvahs, to even birthday parties in your neighborhood. Most events will need a DJ, and all you need to invest in is a switchboard which can be as little as a hundred bucks.
25. Make Money As A Teen Cleaning Garages
Clearly cleaning is a trend. Garages are another great place to clean since no one likes cleaning garages. This one works better if you live in a suburb where people actually have garages. Again, you can use flyers at the local supermarket, church, or playground. Find places that allow you to put your flyers out for free.
The trick to making these flyers stand out is making the paper or font a little different than all the other flyers there. Don't use too many colors or colors that are too bright because that might be distracting. But having red font or a pink piece of paper will stand out above the average white and black flyer.
26. Make Money As A Teen With Real Estate Wholesaling
Real estate wholesaling is one of the easiest ways to get started in real estate and make money as a teen. A wholesaler contracts a home with a seller and then finds an interested buyer for the home who will pay more than what the seller is asking for. So, if you find a home that's for sale for $100,000, your goal is to find a buyer willing to purchase the home for more than that, let's say $120,000. All you have to do is broker the deal between the two and you can make a $20,000 riskless profit.
The best way to get started doing this is going door to door and asking if anyone would be interested in selling their house or if they know anyone interested. If you want to learn more about real estate wholesaling, you can check out our podcast episode where we spoke with two real estate wholesalers who dropped out of college to do wholesaling full-time.
27. Create Websites For Local Businesses
All big businesses have a website. Studies show that 3.5 billion people use the internet. However, smaller businesses may not have a website simply because they don't know how to make one. Go to local businesses and show them some examples of other websites within their space and tell them that you can make them a website just like this one. There are more than enough YouTube videos out there that walk you through step-by-step how to make a website from scratch. So don't be intimidated by the process.
28. Make Money As A Teen Taking Care Of The Elderly
When I was in high school there was a neighbor of mine who became bedridden. He needed someone to take care of him at night as he would wake up at times and need things like a drink or a snack. By taking care of him during his time of need, I was making $100 a night just sleeping in his guest room next to a walkie-talkie.
This is another great way to make money as a teen and advertise your services in local places that the elderly hang out. You can put up flyers in a local park, recreation center, or in your building.
29. Make Money As A Teen Cleaning Boats
This is another one that you can't do unless you live in a town or area next to a body of water. Most boat canvases need cleaning monthly to prevent staining and keep dirt from getting stuck in the material. Many people will pay you to simply wash it down and give it a scrub to rinse off all the extra dirt.
How To Make Money As A Teen Online
Looking for ways to stay home and make money? Great. This is the best time in history to make money online as a teen. There are dozens of businesses to choose from. 30. Make Money As A Teen By Starting A YouTube Channel
It isn't uncommon to find teens who are making crazy money each month on YouTube. You just have to be 13 years old to start a YouTube channel. All you need is a camera and internet connection and you can start creating content. 31. Make Money As A Teen Selling Your Old Things
Take a look at your closet for me. I'll be willing to bet that you only wear about 20% of all the clothes you see in there. That's no knock against you. Most of us buy things that we don't really need. However, selling these clothes is one of the easiest ways to make cash fast.
If you have any social media accounts post a picture of some of the things you'd like to sell. Some people may reach out with interest in buying your stuff.
You can even go to platforms like Facebook Marketplace and list your items there. This gives you even more exposure for your items. The more places you can list your items the more likely it is a potential buyer might see it.
32. Learn A High-Income Skill
This is the one thing I wish I learned earlier. High-income skills are something you need to teach yourself because you'll never learn them in school. Everyone knows the quadratic formula. Very few people know about search engine optimization.
There are multiple high-income skills that if you learn now will pay off in big ways later on in your life. Some of them are:
- Copywriting
- Search engine optimization
- Coding
- Affiliate marketing
- Organic social media growth
- Facebook advertising
- Funnel building
A lot of these skills are written about in detail online. If you prefer to listen you can search these skills on YouTube as well.
33. Make Money As A Teen With A Dropshipping Business
Dropshipping is a business model where you never have to purchase any inventory. For example, let's assume someone wanted to buy a cell phone case. You create a website called cellphonecases.com that sells cell phone cases. They come into your website and they put in an order to purchase a case for $20.
What they don't know, is that you actually don't own any cell phone cases. You actually just go to a manufacturer of cell phone cases who make cell phone cases for $5. You then purchase a cell phone case from the manufacturer for $5 and send it to the person who bought it from your website for $20. This gives you $15 worth of profit.
If you want to learn more about dropshipping and how you could start a drop-shipping business, check out our post on the topic here. We tell you everything you need to know about dropshipping and how you can get started fast. You can also listen to our podcast episode with Cameron Howard of Straight EComm LLC, where we discuss how Cam has made over 7 figures through the art of dropshipping and brand-building.
34. Make Money As A Teen By Becoming a Freelancer
If you choose to learn a high-income skill it becomes easier than ever to become a freelancer. A freelancer is someone who works for themselves instead of for a company. This means that people will pay you for certain tasks and that's it. You aren't salaried. The benefit of being a freelancer is since you don't have a salary and benefits you can charge much higher than an average salaried employee.
If you want to become a freelancer because you are good at a particular skill we recommend opening up a Fiverr account. Fiverr is one of the biggest online marketplaces for freelancers. You can sell your services for as cheap as $5 in categories like digital marketing, video animation, and programming.
If you want to learn more about Fiverr and how you can get started with the platform, check out our breakdown of Fiverr here.
35. Stream On Twitch
If you remember the Fortnite craze of 2018 you definitely remember Twitch. Twitch is a place where people can live stream themselves playing video games and make money by displaying ads on your profile. Some gamers have made millions of dollars a month from Twitch TV. Finally, you have an excuse for your parents about why you need to play video games more.
36. Make Money As A Teen With An Instagram Theme Page
Instagram has over 1 billion people on the platform. Although most of us go on the platform to waste time, you can actually use the platform to make money. Let's say you were interested in backyard activities. Things like grilling, landscaping, gardening, etc. You could create a page on Instagram that reposts the content of really cool gardens and backyards.
Once you build a following on this page, around 10 to 20 thousand followers, you will see that companies that sell products in that niche will reach out to you for a shout-out. You can charge them to place an ad on your Instagram page, you can work with influencers who would also like to work with your page, or you can sell the page in its entirety to a company. There are a lot of ways to make money off Instagram but these are some of the best ways to do so.
37. Make Money As A Teen Selling Stock Photos
Do you like photography? More specifically, do you like taking photos? If you do, you can start getting paid for your images. Plenty of businesses need stock images for their website and will go to platforms like Pexels, Pixabay, iStock, and Getty Images.
If you like taking photos of nature, you can upload your pictures to these platforms. Every time someone downloads one of these images you get paid.
38. Make Money As A Teen By Starting A Blog
I like this one a lot, not just because I own a blog, but because blogging is one of those things you can start at any age. While a lot goes into a blog, the only thing it really requires from you is the ability to put out content on a consistent basis. It doesn't have to be every day, but you should be willing to at least commit to two blog posts a week.
Blogging isn't one of those things that you can make money with as soon as you start. However, it can pay off big time down the road. In order to pick a topic for your blog, ask yourself, "What am I most interested in?" You'll be surprised by how many things you can make money blogging about.
There are blogs around video games, sports, dating, and many more that make six figures a year all from just writing blog posts. If you want to learn how to start a blog and make money from it, check out our post on the topic here.
39. Sell Vintage Clothing On D-Pop and Etsy
Do you like vintage clothing? If so, you can sell vintage clothing on D-Pop or Etsy. These are awesome online marketplaces for people who can buy and sell clothing. It's really easy to get started selling vintage clothing. All you need to do is find a local thrift store, Salvation Army, or a GoodWill and you can find clothes for pennies on the dollar.
40. Start Dropshipping on eBay and Amazon
How is this different from traditional dropshipping? In traditional dropshipping, you need to pay monthly for a platform like Shopify and then pay for ads to get people to your website. If you choose to dropship on eBay or Amazon you don't need to pay for a platform. You also don't need to pay for ads because people are already on eBay or Amazon. This is a much more low-cost way to get started in dropshipping if you have no money to invest.
41. Make Money As A Teen Managing Youtube Influencers
You might be thinking, "what?" Let me explain. When most people start a YouTube account, they do so because they love the topic that they post videos about. What few of them know is that it is very easy to monetize their account once they build an engaged audience. Let's say there was a YouTuber who loved doing tricks with yo-yos. They might have tens of thousands or hundreds of thousand of subscribers who love their videos.
What you can do is reach out to them and ask them how much it would cost to place an advertisement in one of their videos. Some of them might not even have an answer as no one has asked them that question before. Once they give you an answer, reach out to yo-yo companies and say that you manage a YouTuber and it would cost $X to place one of their yo-yos in their video.
Make sure to give the company a number 10 times higher than what the YouTuber asked for. So if the Youtuber says they want $50, ask for $500 from the company. Usually, the YouTuber won't care that you make money as well as long as you give them the money they ask for. This is an easy way to get started as an unofficial manager.
42. Start A Podcast
Over 144 million Americans listen to podcasts. This is a perfect opportunity for you to start one about a topic you're interested in. Although you can't money with this overnight, this is something that could provide you a full-time income down the road. With so many people listening to podcasts, you can sell your own product, someone else's product, or just do traditional advertising through your platform. If you're interested in starting a podcast and want to learn more about it, you can check out our post on the topic here.
43. Transcribing Audio Files
Many people with a podcast or YouTube account also have blogs to go along with it. However, with a blog, a Youtube account, and a podcast it is hard to create content for all their different platforms. A great way to create content without doing more work is transcribing their audio content to written content. Most content creators will happily outsource this as no one likes to transcribe audio files.
Luckily, you won't have to transcribe them either. Reach out to people with a YouTube account or podcast, and tell them that you will transcribe their audio files for $2 a minute. From there, go to transcriberry.com where they transcribe audio files for $1.25 a minute. If they ask you to transcribe a 30-minute video, that can be an easy twenty bucks for doing no work. Also, if they are producing a lot of videos, this can be recurring revenue for you.
44. Investing In The Stock Market
Unless you are a penny stock trading whiz like Connor Brueggemann, you will not make money quickly by investing in the stock market. The stock market should be looked at as a long-term way to make money. However, if you start investing at 18 just $20 a week into the stock market, 10 years later you would have over $16,000! And that's just with $20 a week. As you get older and start making more money you can invest more in the market.
A nice goal to have is to invest at least 10% of your paycheck into the stock market. If you want to learn more about financial literacy and investing a good book to read is the Automatic Millionaire by David Bach. In this book, he shows you that if you can automate your investing in the stock market, you can become a millionaire even if you never make more than $50,000 a year.
How To Make Money As A Teen With Apps
Making money from apps takes two seconds. Although apps are extremely easy to get started with, they usually pay out the least amount of money. For most of these options, you won't get rich, but if you are looking for a quick way to make money as a teen, apps are a great option for you.
45. Start a TikTok Page
When you think of Tik Tok you might just think of it as a place you go for laughs and entertainment. However, there are many people who are making great money from Tik Tok.
If you can become an influencer on the platform companies will pay you to promote their product on your page. You can also create your own branded merchandise, like a clothing line. If you're musically inclined, you could even launch your own music career through Tik Tok the same way Baby Ariel did.
46. Sign Up For Swag Bucks
You've probably heard of Swagbucks before. When you sign up and make a profile you can then answer surveys, watch videos, and shop online to make money. Once you've interacted with the app enough, they will then pay you out with free gift cards to your favorite retailers like Amazon, Walmart, Target, and more. Since they started, they have paid out over 450 million dollars to their users.
47. Sign Up For VIP Voice
VIP Voice allows you to download their app on all of your devices. All you have to do is just use the internet the way you would today. This is a great way to make money as a teen as they say on their website that they give away around $10,000 each month.
48. Sign Up For My Points
We all like to give our opinions to people. You might as well get paid for it. If you sign up for My Points, they invite you to take surveys where you can earn points for giving honest answers. Once you earn enough points you can get gift cards from some of your favorite brands. Very similar to how Swagbucks works.
49. Make Money As A Teen Teaching English with Bridge.edu
Bridge.edu is a platform where you can launch your online teaching career. You don't need any qualifications outside of being fluent in English. Once you take Bridge.edu's certification exam to prove you are fluent in English, you can help tutor those who want to learn English as a second language. Key Takeaways
Many people believe you cannot make money as a teen. However, you are never too young to make money. That's because you are never too young to provide value. The education system never teaches people how money works. Let me briefly explain. Many people look at money as a goal in life. However, money in and of itself has no value. What money has is the ability to purchase the things that you want. It is a medium of exchange.
The way money gets transferred is through a value proposition. The reason why a candy bar cost $1 is that that is the value of a candy bar. No more no less. The reason a Ferrari costs hundreds of thousands of dollars is that that is the value of a Ferrari.
If you want to make money as a teen you need to start thinking about what value can you provide to someone and at what price. When I started dog walking I saw that the average person charged $15 for a 30-minute walk. So I charged $8. I eventually worked up to $15-$20 a walk, but I understood that if I wanted to enter the business I should provide more value than the money I was asking for. Once I was able to establish a reputation for myself then I was able to increase the cost of my service.
When trying to make money as a teen, think the exact same way. With these 60+ strategies, you have more than enough options to get started on your entrepreneurial journey. All it's going to take now is for you to take action, be patient, and show up day in and day out. Wishing you all the best of luck.
